Terms of Service

Version 1.1 · in force since October 16, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Lane Rally LLC ("LaneRally", "we", "us"). They cover lanerally.com, the LaneRally app at app.lanerally.com, our phone assistant and phone numbers, and our emails. If you use LaneRally for a company, you accept these terms for that company and confirm you're authorized to do so, and "you" means both you and that company. These terms bind people who accept them. People who only receive our calls or emails aren't asked to agree to anything; our Privacy Policy explains how we handle their information, and everyone's.

1. Accepting these terms
You accept these terms by ticking the box beside them when you create an account, or when you accept them on a form that asks you to. The box starts unticked, and an account isn't made without the tick. Binding actions, such as booking, making an offer, posting a load or signing, ask you to accept the version in force. If you don't agree, don't use LaneRally.

Other agreements. Some features have their own terms, such as the load-posting agreement for brokers and, when those features open, the Shipping Terms, the Carrier Board Terms and the rate confirmation terms. A company that uses our phone assistant for its own calls signs a separate customer agreement. Those texts apply alongside these terms, and on their own subject they win if they conflict with these terms. For a particular load, the signed rate confirmation, and any signed agreement between the broker of record and the carrier or shipper, wins over these terms.

Doing business electronically. You agree to do business with us electronically, and to receive agreements, notices and records from us electronically, by email or in the app. When you tick a box and type your name to accept or sign something on LaneRally, that is your electronic signature and it binds you like a signature on paper. We keep a record of the text and its version, the name you typed, and the time, IP address and browser. You can ask us at [email protected] for a copy of anything you signed on LaneRally, exactly as you signed it. The parties to a load that Lane Rally LLC arranges may review its record as federal broker rules provide (49 CFR 371.3).

2. Who we are and what we do
LaneRally is operated by Lane Rally LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, at 2718 W Estrella Dr, Chandler, AZ 85224-7813. Lane Rally LLC is also a freight broker (USDOT 6662937, MC 54695737), under that name.

LaneRally is software and a network for shippers, carriers and freight brokers. LaneRally is not a motor carrier and doesn't transport freight.

Lane Rally LLC is also a freight broker (USDOT 6662937, MC 54695737), under that name. Once its broker authority is verified, Lane Rally LLC is broker of record on its own loads. It arranges freight only while that FMCSA broker authority is verified. Until then, Lane Rally LLC arranges no transportation: its assistant's quoting and booking tools refuse, it gives no quotes and books no loads, and any load it shows on LaneRally's load board or website is a test. During that time its sales calls and emails may still introduce it to businesses as a freight brokerage, without claiming a license or giving an authority number.

Loads other brokers post. When load posting opens to outside brokers, the broker that posts a load is that load's broker of record: the broker and the carrier contract with each other directly, and the broker pays the carrier. LaneRally doesn't arrange those loads, and today it handles no money on them. If a feature that moves money on those loads opens, its own terms will say, before it opens, who holds the money and in what role.

Features that aren't open yet. The load board, offers, Book Now, in-app messages, masked calls, location sharing, electronic signing of rate confirmations and bills of lading, carrier payouts, auto-book, shipper checkout and load posting by outside brokers are not open to the public. Some run in test mode for invited testers (section 13). Each opens with its own published terms, which you'll be asked to accept before using it.

Software for other companies. Brokerages with their own broker authority, and dispatch services acting as agents for carriers, may use LaneRally's back office and phone assistant for their own business under a separate customer agreement. They work under their own authority and their own name, not LaneRally's. A brokerage that runs a partner program of its own on LaneRally is responsible for its own partner agreement, for what it pays its partners, and for the figures it gives them.

3. Who can use LaneRally
LaneRally is for businesses in the United States. To use it you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- use LaneRally for business, not for personal, family or household purposes;
- be authorized to act for each company you add;
- not have been barred from LaneRally before.
A carrier account needs active FMCSA operating authority. A broker account needs active FMCSA broker authority. A shipper account needs an email address at the shipper's own company domain.

4. Your account and roles
- One account per person. One account can belong to several companies, and you switch between them from the account menu.
- Within a company, each person has a role: owner, admin or member. In a back office, team members are owners, managers or members. Owners decide who has access, and a company is responsible for what the people it lets in do.
- Keep your password to yourself and don't share your login. If you think someone else used your account, change your password, use "sign out everywhere" on your account page, and tell us at [email protected].
- Give true, complete information and keep it current. Use only a phone number and email address that you control.
- Invited testers get a single-use invite link for one kind of account. Don't pass it on.

5. Verification and holds
We check companies before they can use LaneRally's features:
- Carriers: active FMCSA operating authority, insurance on file with FMCSA, and a one-time code sent by call or email to the contact on the carrier's FMCSA record. We choose that contact from the record; it is never a number typed into a form.
- Broker applicants: active FMCSA broker authority, a work email at the brokerage's own domain, and a review by a person at LaneRally, who may call the phone on the brokerage's FMCSA record and may ask you questions.
- Shippers: an email at the company's own domain, confirmed by email.
When a second account claims a company that already has one, a person at LaneRally reviews it.

We may hold an account or application, ask for more information, limit what it can do, reject it, or suspend it while we check something. If we suspend a company over a serious concern, everyone at that company is signed out.

Our checks reduce risk; they don't guarantee anyone's identity, authority, insurance, safety record or ability to pay. Do your own checks before you work with anyone.

6. What LaneRally costs
- Carrier and broker accounts are free. No card is needed.
- Once Lane Rally LLC's broker authority is verified, shippers pay per load: the price on the quote they book, fuel included. Until then, shippers have nothing to pay. The Shipping Terms will set out cancellation, detention and payment when shipper booking opens.
- The phone assistant for companies' own calls is an optional add-on, priced in its customer agreement.
- We'll show you any price before you're charged, and you'll never owe a fee you didn't agree to. Prices don't include taxes, which you pay where they apply.
- LaneRally doesn't take real payments today: its payment features run only in test mode, for invited testers. It never asks for card or bank details itself; when payments open, you type them only on the payment service's own pages.

7. Carriers' duties
On every load you take from Lane Rally LLC or through LaneRally, you must:
- hold active operating authority for the load, and keep it active until delivery;
- keep the insurance on file with FMCSA, and any higher coverage the broker of record requires, in force until delivery;
- comply with every law that applies to you, including federal and state safety rules on hours of service, driver qualification, drug and alcohol testing, vehicle maintenance, size and weight, and hazardous materials;
- haul the load yourself, with your own drivers and equipment, under your own authority;
- never double broker: don't re-broker, assign or interline the load, or hand it to another carrier or broker, without the broker of record's written permission;
- tell the broker of record right away about delays, accidents, cargo loss or damage, and any change in your authority, insurance or safety rating;
- keep your account information accurate.

8. Shippers' duties
When you ship through Lane Rally LLC, once shipper booking opens, you must:
- describe each load truly and completely, including commodity, weight, size, value and any special handling;
- declare hazardous materials and tender them as the law requires, and never tender anything illegal;
- have the freight ready, packed and, where you load it, loaded safely and secured as agreed;
- give drivers safe access at your facilities and at those you arrange;
- pay as the Shipping Terms and your quote say.
A carrier's liability for cargo can be limited by law or by its terms. If your freight is worth more, ask about coverage before you ship.

9. Brokers' duties for posted loads
When outside brokers can post loads on LaneRally, a broker that posts must:
- keep active FMCSA broker authority and the bond or trust federal law requires;
- post only real loads it has the right to broker, each with a real rate;
- keep postings current and remove loads once they're covered;
- act as broker of record: issue its own rate confirmation, check its carrier, and pay the carrier as agreed;
- never re-post or re-broker a load it booked on LaneRally;
- keep the records federal rules require brokers to keep for each shipment, and give the parties the access to them those rules provide;
- follow the load-posting agreement.

10. Quotes, rate confirmations and bookings
A rate estimate is not a quote, and a quote is not a booking. A posting, an estimate, a quote or an email doesn't book a load on its own.

A calling company's assistant may agree a load with a carrier on a call, after reading the rate and details back and hearing the carrier confirm them. The load is then assigned to that carrier, and a link to the rate confirmation is emailed to the carrier at once. A brokerage's team may also assign a load to a carrier in LaneRally. Today the carrier reviews, signs and returns the rate confirmation outside LaneRally; in test mode, testers sign it in the app.

The signed rate confirmation sets the load's terms: its rate, its extra charges (such as detention or truck-ordered-not-used) and its payment terms. On those points it wins over these terms for that load, and nothing said on a call changes a signed rate confirmation.

Lane Rally LLC's assistant won't quote or book while its broker authority isn't verified.

11. Payments
LaneRally doesn't handle real payments today (its payment features run only in test mode). On every load, the broker of record pays the carrier under the signed rate confirmation, and the shipper pays the broker of record under their own agreement. On loads other brokers arrange, LaneRally isn't responsible for payments between others. Never arrange freight intending not to pay the carrier.

12. Cargo loss, damage and delay
Lane Rally LLC arranges transportation as a broker, not as a carrier. The Shipping Terms and the rate confirmation for a load set out its responsibilities on that load. Under federal law (the Carmack Amendment, 49 U.S.C. 14706), a motor carrier is liable for loss of or damage to the cargo it transports, so a cargo claim is filed with the carrier.

On Lane Rally LLC's loads, once its broker authority is verified, Lane Rally LLC will help you with a claim by giving you the carrier's details and the load's documents. Giving a claim to Lane Rally LLC is not filing it with the carrier: file it with the carrier yourself. On loads other brokers arrange, that broker helps with claims.

Report loss or damage right away: note it on the delivery receipt, keep the damaged goods and photos, and file your claim with the carrier in writing. The written claim should identify the shipment, say that you hold the carrier liable for the loss or damage, and ask for a specific or determinable amount of money (49 CFR 370.3(b)). A carrier may require written claims within nine months of delivery, so don't wait.

13. Test and beta features
Some features run in test mode for invited testers only. Loads, companies and records marked TEST are not real: no carrier is dispatched and no money moves. Test companies are made up and aren't linked to any real company's records. Features in testing may change or be removed at any time, and are provided as they are.

While our legal texts are drafts, they're marked DRAFT, and an acceptance of a draft is recorded as one. The version you accepted applies to you until you accept a later one. We'll ask you to accept the published version at your next booking, offer, load posting or signature, and when you next sign in. Being asked never stops you signing in: you can accept later.

14. The phone assistant
Lane Rally LLC, and other companies that use LaneRally, use an automated assistant that speaks with an artificial (AI) voice. It opens each call by naming its company and saying the call is transcribed. A call it places also gives the company's number to call back on, and a sales call, a load offer or a dispatcher's booking call says how to stop that company's calls: say "stop calling" or press 9. If you ask whether it's a person, it says it is automated, and it never claims to be a person. Ask for a person at any time and it will offer to connect you or take a message.

Calls are transcribed, and the transcripts, summaries and reviews are kept and processed as the Privacy Policy describes, including by Anthropic's Claude.

The assistant can mishear and can make mistakes. It reads back details that matter; check them, and confirm anything important in writing. A calling company's assistant may agree a load with a carrier on a call (section 10), but nothing said on a call changes a signed rate confirmation. Don't try to make it act outside the purpose of the call, and don't give it false information.

A company that uses the assistant for its own calls is responsible, under its customer agreement, for having the consent it needs, for following calling and do-not-call laws, and for its calling hours and what its assistant says.

15. Calls, emails and texts
Account messages. By creating an account, you agree that we may contact you about your account and our service by email, and by automated calls that read one-time codes, at the phone numbers and email addresses you give us, which must be ones you control. To verify your company, we may also send a code, by call or email, to the contact on its FMCSA record. That is an identity check for that company, not a sales call. Press 9 on a code call and we won't call that number with codes again unless we confirm with you that you want them. If you didn't ask for a code, ignore it.

Calls from the assistant. Agreeing to calls from a company's assistant is optional and never a condition of buying anything or doing business with that company. The agreement covers calls about freight quotes, loads and the company's services, including sales calls, made with an artificial voice and automated dialing, from the company named in it only. While a calling company has business-landline calling turned on, its assistant may also make sales calls to business landlines without prior agreement, within the limits the Privacy Policy describes.

Texts. We send texts only after our texting registration is verified; until then we send none. When texting is on, we text only people who ask us to.

Stopping. You can stop calls, texts and sales emails at any time: say so on a call, say "stop calling" or press 9 on a sales call or load offer, press 9 on a code call, withdraw your agreement to Lane Rally LLC's calls on your account page, reply STOP to a text, use the link in our messages, reply "unsubscribe" to a sales email, or email [email protected]. The Privacy Policy explains what each of these stops. Account and security emails continue while you have an account.

Your numbers. Give only phone numbers and email addresses you're authorized to use. If a number you gave us changes hands, please tell us, so that we don't contact its new holder.

16. Acceptable use
Don't:
- post, quote or give false loads, rates or company information;
- impersonate anyone, use another company's MC or USDOT number, or misstate your role on a load;
- double broker, or arrange freight intending not to pay the carrier;
- send phishing, misleading or unwanted messages through LaneRally;
- use a phone number or email you don't control;
- scrape, crawl or copy LaneRally with bots or scripts, get around rate limits or security, probe for weaknesses, or reverse engineer LaneRally;
- share logins or let others use your account;
- upload malware or anything that could harm LaneRally or its users;
- harass or abuse anyone, including our team and our assistant;
- use LaneRally to break any law, including transportation, calling, privacy, anti-spam and sanctions laws;
- copy LaneRally's data to build a competing service or to resell it;
- use LaneRally while driving.
Tell us about misuse at [email protected].

No competing use. While you use LaneRally, and for 24 months after you stop, you won't scrape, crawl, bulk-copy or reverse engineer LaneRally, and you won't use LaneRally's data, prices, estimates or tools to build, train or run a competing load board, freight rate service or brokerage software. This applies beside the rules above and beside "Rates on the load board" below.

17. Your content and our property
LaneRally's software, websites, design, names, logos and rate estimates belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right, which we may revoke, to use LaneRally for your business under these terms.

You keep your rights in what you give us, such as load details, company information and what you tell us on calls. You let us host, copy, process, show and share it as needed to run LaneRally and provide what you ask for, as the Privacy Policy describes, and to use it in de-identified and combined form, such as lane rate trends, to improve LaneRally. We keep de-identified information that way and don't try to re-identify it. One calling company's rates never feed another company's rate estimates. You promise that you have the right to give us what you give us, including any notices and consents needed for other people's information.

Rates on the load board. Rates posted, offered and booked on LaneRally's load board, and the times they're posted, changed, offered and booked, are part of how the board works. You agree that LaneRally may record, keep and analyse them, on their own and combined with other information, to run, secure and improve LaneRally, to keep the board's postings real and its rates honest, and to set and check prices and rate estimates, including Lane Rally LLC's own. When another company's prices or estimates draw on them, they draw on your rates only combined with other companies', never on yours alone. We never show your offers to another company, and others see your rates only as your posting shows them on the board.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

FMCSA and other public data we show belongs to its sources and is shown as we received it.

18. Suspension and closing
You can stop using LaneRally at any time. A carrier company's owner can close it from the carrier app's account page. To close another account, email [email protected]. We then suspend the account and stop contacting you, and its records are kept as the Privacy Policy describes. You can download your data from your account page first.

We may suspend or close an account, or refuse access, if you break these terms, if we can't verify you or your company, if your authority or insurance lapses, to protect anyone from fraud or harm, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering a feature. We'll tell you why when we can, unless the law or safety prevents it.

What continues after closing: duties on loads already booked, payments owed, and the sections on content and property, disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity and disputes.

19. Disclaimers
LANERALLY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE MAKE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES: NONE OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NONE OF MERCHANTABILITY, AND NONE OF NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We don't guarantee any carrier, shipper, broker or load. FMCSA and other public data can be out of date or wrong. Our rate estimates, research, scores and anything the assistant or our AI tools produce are estimates and can be wrong. We don't promise that LaneRally will always be available or error-free, that calls will connect, or that emails will arrive. You're responsible for your own decisions, including choosing and checking the companies you work with.

20. Limits on our liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS:
- NEITHER WE NOR OUR PEOPLE ARE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL;
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ABOUT LANERALLY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US FOR LANERALLY IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR US$100;
- WE AREN'T LIABLE FOR WHAT OTHER USERS DO, INCLUDING CARGO LOSS OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY A CARRIER, NON-PAYMENT, OR FRAUD BY ANOTHER USER.
These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them, such as to fraud or willful misconduct. They don't limit what Lane Rally LLC owes under a rate confirmation or shipping agreement it signs; that document sets its own terms.

21. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Lane Rally LLC and its people against third-party claims, and the losses and reasonable legal fees that come from them, arising from: your breach of these terms; your loads, freight or transportation services; the content you give us; your breaking the law, including calling and privacy laws for calls you make or ask us to make; and your disputes with other users. This doesn't cover any part of a claim caused by the negligence or willful misconduct of LaneRally or its people. On a load Lane Rally LLC arranges, the rate confirmation and the agreement signed for that load set each side's indemnities instead. We'll tell you promptly about any such claim. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault for us, or puts a duty on us, without our written consent.

22. Disputes and governing law
Talk to us first. Before bringing a claim, email [email protected] with "Dispute" in the subject and describe it. We'll both try in good faith to settle it within 30 days.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Arizona and applicable federal law, including federal transportation law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Courts. Any claim that isn't settled goes to the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.

INDIVIDUAL CLAIMS ONLY. TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, YOU AND WE EACH BRING CLAIMS ONLY ON OUR OWN BEHALF: NEITHER OF US WILL SUE AS PART OF A CLASS, OR FOR OTHERS IN A REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

Time limit. To the extent the law allows, a claim about LaneRally must be brought within one year after it arises. Claims against a carrier for cargo loss or damage follow the time limits that apply to them.

23. General
- These terms, with the texts they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about LaneRally.
- You may not transfer your rights or duties under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours in a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it.
- Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as outages, disasters or acts of government.
- You and we are independent. These terms create no agency, partnership or employment, and no rights for anyone else.
- We send notices to the email on your account or show them in the app. Send notices to us at [email protected] and to Lane Rally LLC, 2718 W Estrella Dr, Chandler, AZ 85224-7813.
- These terms are written in English, and the English version controls.

24. Changes
We publish each new version of these terms with its version number and the date it takes effect, and keep earlier versions. For a material change, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. A new version applies only from the date it takes effect: it doesn't change loads already booked, and it doesn't apply to a dispute that arose before then. Binding actions, such as booking, making an offer, posting a load or signing, ask you to accept the version in force (we may also ask when you sign in), and using LaneRally after a new version takes effect means you accept it. If you don't agree to a new version, stop using LaneRally. We may also change or stop features; for a feature you pay for, your agreement for it says how much notice you get.
